Don GIUVA' is the wine of "land medicine man".In greek language "cropio" is a sort of natural fertilizer, and form this ancient origin , our dialect , there are some words like "cropia" and "cropio". so the "medico du cropio" is the doctor of land , the agronomist.

The name SERRA SANGUIGNA stems from needs' to identify wine with the territory of production. Serra Sanguigna is one of the 'most beautiful and evocative of' whole of production Cirņ. In fact, for its strategic position at the end dell'800 was built semaforica a station which served to control the transit of warships in the Gulf of Taranto. In tramontana clear days, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the whole Gulf of Taranto north and across the coast south until promontory capocolonna.
